SAN FRANCISCO (September 3, 2019) — Today, PLANET HOME, an organization dedicated to promoting actionable solutions to the planet’s greatest environmental issues, announced leading environmental scientist and sustainability expert Dr. Jonathan Foley, indigenous environmental activist and youth director of Earth Guardians Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, New York Times bestselling author Steven Kotler and musical artists LANY, The Mowgli’s and 24KGoldn will join its inaugural flagship event, PLANET HOME, taking place at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts September 13 – 15.
PLANET HOME is a first-of-its-kind three-day showcase full of live musical performances, immersive and interactive art installations, planetary changing discussions, and an unparalleled bespoke food & beverage program.
Collectively, the participation of world-renowned thought-leaders including Bill Nye the Science Guy, actor & environmental activist Adrian Grenier, XPrize Founder Peter Diamandis, Microsoft’s Chief Environmental Officer Lucas Joppa, musical artists Gallant and Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker), actor and UN Ambassador Edward Norton, Astronaut Captain Scott Kelly and many more is designed to spotlight solutions on how to protect and improve the health of our planet and spark a shift in consumer behavior towards empathy, understanding and action.

The three-day experiential event will feature two areas of engagement — PLANET HOME Village and PLANET HOME Visions – combining the best elements of a summit, concert, festival and marketplace. Village provides a forum to engage, connect, discover and go home equipped to take action against the environmental crisis – knowing that we’re all in this fight together, and together we can affect change. Headlined by a diverse and renowned group of artists, the musical elements of the three-day event will be just one of the ways Village will foster a positive sense of community.
Village will feature hands-on, immersive and interactive exhibit experiences open to the public that connect consumers to real and potential scenarios related to all areas of the environmental crisis.
PLANET HOME Visions
PLANET HOME Visions is an invite-only summit for individuals and enterprises who want to take an active role in solving the planet’s issues. Visions offers attendees an opportunity to engage in business development, grow partner networks, showcase and build their brand, and exchange actionable business solutions with like-minded peers — all to shape the next generation of environmental future-focused leaders.
Visions will feature presentations from world-renowned thought-leaders or “solutionists” who will come together to share, discover, learn, solve, network and build business across 16 global sectors falling under four areas of Impact — EAT, MAKE, MOVE and LIVE — where humanity can solve global environmental challenges.
